A Michelin-Starred chef has partnered with an established LA group to open a new progressive Japanese restaurant near West LA. Looking for a Chef de Cuisine to help oversee the opening process and manage day to day operations of the kitchen, which will include sushi and a hot line. On track to open this year, the 40-seat restaurant is currently undergoing a stunning renovation with custom white oak furnishing and natural linen upholstery to create a chic minimalist dining space. This role is perfect for a Chef who is passionate about executing Japanese cuisine at a high level.

The ideal Chef de Cuisine has:

  • A true love and passion for food and bringing people together
  • Natural leadership abilities while also having a team-player mentality
  • Willingness to be hands on and will lead by example
  • Experience cooking Japanese cuisine preferred
  • Minimum 3-4 years of previous management experience
