Award-winning, Michelin-starred Chef opening an exciting new restaurant concept is seeking a Chef de Cuisine to help lead the team. A great manager of people is a must for this role. Excellent opportunity to work for an acclaimed chef with AMAZING benefits!

Chef de Cuisine Responsibilities:

  • Menu development and recipe costing
  • Create unique, memorable dishes using only the highest caliber ingredients 
  • Ensuring that all food meets the highest standards of quality and consistency
  • Leading and Mentoring a strong culinary team 
  • Collaborate with and support Executive Chef 
  • Maintaining proper ordering and inventory
  • Ensuring best practices for safety and sanitation in the kitchen
  • Keeping track of new trends in the industry
  • Creating thoughtful food that fits the concept’s aesthetic  

Chef de Cuisine Preferred Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in a similar position (Senior Sous Chef, Executive Sous Chef, CDC, Executive Chef)
  • High level plating skills are a must 
  • Opening experience is a plus
  • Love for unique, quality ingredients 
  • Excellent communication skills and leadership qualities
  • Ability to thrive in a high-pressure environment
  • Creative, innovative thinking and ability to introduce new  ideas
  • Exceptional standards for cleanliness, health, and safety
  • Experience in managing inventory and cost controls
  • Flexible schedule, including weekends, and on holidays
