Established West Hollywood hotspot is seeking a Chef de Cuisine to assist in leading the team and continue cultivating their growth and success. This stunning, high-volume restaurant features a globally influenced seafood-driven menu, and they love to promote from within! Candidates must have high-volume experience, and high-level execution is critical. This spectacular restaurant operates like a finely tuned machine, and training will be provided for the CDC to learn the organization’s procurement systems, core menu recipes, company culture, and other administrative functions. This is an excellent opportunity for a highly experienced, passionate person to join a revered gem of Los Angeles!

Chef de Cuisine Responsibilities:
• Support and assist Executive Chef with leadership of operation
• Participate in hiring and training of culinary team members
• Maintaining proper ordering, scheduling and inventory
• Day to day management of kitchen and team
• Ensuring that all food meets the highest standards of quality and consistency
• Ensuring best practices for safety and sanitation in the kitchen
Chef de Cuisine Requirements & Preferences:
• Past experience as a Chef de Cuisine leading a high volume operation of 10 MIL volume OR Executive Chef of a 8 MIL+ operation
• Excellent communication skills and leadership qualities
• Ability to thrive in a high-pressure environment
• Previous experience in an all scratch kitchen
• New restaurant opening experience is a plus
• Exceptional standards for cleanliness, health, and safety
• Knowledge of P&L, managing inventory, and cost controls
• Flexible schedule, including weekends, and on holidays
