Classic Los Feliz restaurant and bar seeking a Beverage Manager to oversee their Bar Program. Over the past couple years, they have made some great strides with their cocktail program growing one of the largest whiskey lists in CA (600), as well as batching cocktails. Plans are to focus even more marketing efforts around the beverage program moving forward. This person may develop to be a regional/operations support for the company. Would need to be a craft cocktail creator, have training experience, adept with vendor partnership and cost management. The bar area is not where they expect this individual to live each night as duties would be spread across the restaurant and bar.


  • Research and develop a fresh, creative, and inspired beverage program in line with the overall vision of the business
  • Receive, stock, and inventory liquor
  • Ongoing development and training of team members to ensure growth, knowledge, and professionalism
  • Cost Management
  • Willingness to work behind the bar and be present on the floor as required
  • Ensure consistency and cleanliness of bar and bar program
  • Develop programs/methods to increase efficiency of bar operations
  • Resolving customer complaints and attending to all customer correspondence
  • Knowledge of Food & Beverage pairings


  • 3+ years minimum beverage experience with a proven track record of leading a professional, efficient, high quality, service-oriented operation
  • Knowledge of Whiskey preferred
  • Flexible schedule including weekends and holidays
  • A sophisticated communicator with high standards of performance together with excellent communication, problem solving and listening skills
  • Passionate about the Hospitality Industry and Guest Relations
  • Ability to work effectively under time constraints and deadlines
  • Ability to create strong relationships with guests, members, and staff
  • Working knowledge of bar operations and core standards, policies, and standard operating procedures
  • Knowledge of Food & Beverage service, spirits & cocktails, creating and developing, cost control, labor control, maintenance, merchandising & accounting
