Stunning beachfront property is seeking a creative, spirited Bar Manager to join their team. This role would be responsible for overseeing the concept’s beverage program – including a seasonally changing cocktail menu, beer, and potentially wine. Additional responsibilities include overseeing bar staff, establishing a positive rapport with guests, managing inventory, and creating a professional, energetic approach to the bar and beverage program. Bar Manager Responsibilities:

  • Research and develop a fresh, creative, and inspired beverage program in line with the overall vision of the business
  • Receive, stock, and inventory liquor, beer, and wine
  • Ongoing development and training of team members to ensure growth, knowledge, and professionalism
  • Cost Management
  • Willingness to work behind the bar and be present on the floor as required
  • Ensure consistency and cleanliness of bar and bar program
  • Develop programs/methods to increase efficiency of bar operations
  • Resolving customer complaints and attending to all customer correspondence
  • Knowledge of Food & Beverage pairings

Bar  Manager Qualifications:

  • 2+ years’ experience working as a Bar Manager, Beverage Manager, Bar Lead, Mixologist, F&B Manager, F&B Supervisor or comparable role in an upscale, high-volume dining establishment
  • Proven track record of leading a professional, efficient, high quality, service-oriented operation
  • Strong experience in craft cocktail culture
  • Creative and natural approach to flavors
  • A sophisticated communicator with high standards of performance, problem solving and listening skills
  • Passionate about the Hospitality Industry and Guest Relations
  • Ability to work effectively under time constraints and deadlines
  • Ability to create strong relationships with guests, members, and staff
  • Working knowledge of bar operations and core standards, policies, and standard operating procedures
  • Knowledge of Food & Beverage service, spirits & cocktails, creating and developing, cost control, labor control, maintenance, merchandising & accounting
  • Wine skills a bonus, but not required
  • Flexible schedule including weekends and holidays
