Successful, growing restaurant & hospitality group is looking to add top talent to their team as they expand! The group is currently in search of talented, experienced Assistant General Managers for various concepts in Los Angeles and NYC. The ideal candidate is genuinely passionate about the industry and takes pride in what they do. Having a keen ability to deal with high-profile clientele in a professional manner is imperative to being successful in this role, as is any prior experience or understanding of nightlife and guest relations. This person will need to be humble and capable of walking into a well-oiled machine, and past experience working for high-volume concepts is essential. Assistant General Manager Responsibilities:

  • Perform all aspects of the job with a high level of professionalism and integrity

  • Provide Support for GM and other FOH staff in positive manner
  • Maintain positive and cooperative relationships with all vendors, business partners, and staff

  • Drive financial performance, operating standards, hospitality and overall execution within the venue
  • Continually strive to educate and develop staff as it relates to food, beverage, and service
  • Ensure stellar guest experience in all areas
  • Solve any guest issues in a timely and appropriate manner
  • Oversee and positively impact all areas of the business including: sales, costs, employee retention, guest service and satisfaction, food quality, cleanliness and sanitation
  • Ensure quality and consistency of all products served
  • Ensure all equipment is kept clean and in excellent working condition.
  • Be knowledgeable of restaurant policies regarding personnel and deliver prompt, fair and consistent corrective action for any and all violations of company policies, rules and procedures.
  • Fully understand and comply with all federal, state, county and municipal regulations that pertain to health, safety and labor requirements

Assistant General Manager Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience as Restaurant Assistant General Manager (AGM) or 3+ years as Restaurant Manager, Food & Beverage Manager, Dining Room Manager, or FOH Manager
  • High volume experience is required
  • Any prior experience and understanding of nightlife/ guest relations is highly preferred
  • Ability to take and give direction
  • Must be receptive to feedback, patient, flexible and curious
  • Strong leader and motivator to the staff and management
